What keeps you organized and FIT while you are pregnant? I am sharing a few of my favorites below! Well, I could have a million things to keep me organized and still have pregnancy brain, so I am not sure if I am equipped to answer this with the utmost confidence, however I will try and share what helps me! First and foremost (yes this sounds so dorky), but my erin condren agenda! Who spends $50 on an organizer. This girl, ha! I literally have to write down everything and many of you experience this firsthand. Anything & everything you might ask me, I will write down so I remember to follow up. If I don't write it down, trust me, it will never happen. It reminds me to: do payroll, take my prenatal vitamin, follow up with a client, buy printer ink, change the sheets, go to hockey games, buy birthday presents, staff scheduling, etc! Some weeks I even write down to eat a salad every day. Now, I do have anxiety about losing this precious agenda, but that is another story. My son likes to write in his agenda like me....it keeps us both organized. Blue Apron! It is a weekly subscription that has fresh & healthy ingredients for 3 gourmet meals. It comes carefully packaged and in a refrigerated box and has pre-portioned ingredients to save time & reduce waste. It is really easy to follow and brings a variety to our dinner table. I've been vegetarian for a few years now and blue apron has provided us with a nice vegetarian variety. With a busy schedule, it is nice to know we will eat 3 real meals a week. We don't order it every week because you can jump ahead and see the meals...next week has some with mushrooms and I know Chris isn't a huge fan so we are going to skip it. My camelback water bottle. It is hard to drink a ton of water in the winter (especially the one we have been having in Boston), but this water bottle actually gets me to drink a LOT of water which I need to do while pregnant and exercising so much. It is so easy, doesn't leak and I love the straw! I refill it 3-4 times a day to stay well hydrated. I actually have a grey one (so Chris doesn't feel too girly drinking out of it too), but posting a cute pink one below! Lastly, my fitbit is a huge source of motivation! I have a simple fit bit flex that I wear around my wrist everyday. But you might ask...."You teach 6 classes a day?!" Yes, I do, but when they are barre based, kids ballet, pilates, deep stretch, etc, there is very little cardio (and steps) involved, and my clients are #1 so my workout really doesn't happen during those 6 classes....unless I am teaching balletFIT cardio :) Walking helps my back during pregnancy so this is a great tool to get me moving. I aim for 10,000 steps per day, but some days, like today when I teach morning stretch, pilates with props & deep stretch I make an effort to schedule a walk on the treadmill. I'm still only at 5,361 steps for the day, so I need to get off the computer and move around :) Next week I am sharing my favorite finds for balletFIT style! Many of you have asked about my dance skirts, mesh pants & legwarmers lately. I will tell you all of it! Thanks for reading :) xo, Gina
