Weather Policy In the event of inclement weather, dance and fitness classes may be held even though school may be canceled. To confirm class status please visit our facebook page. For children's ballet classes, we will email you 4 hours before the start of the class if we close due to weather. There will be no refunds for such cancellations, but a danceFIT studio voucher will be issued. 1 voucher will be issued per winter season. For adult classes, you will receive a cancellation email & we encourage you to come workout another night during the week whether at the studio or as part of our VirtualFIT program. If you need a package extension due to a weather cancellation, please email us.
We welcome and invite parents to stay and observe your child’s ballet class; a unique benefit we afford to parents because we recognize what a great experience it is for dancers and parents alike to share and enjoy. In our Brookline studio you may remain in the actual studio. Please respect the learning and creative environment needed to conduct a dance program and refrain from all conversation. Please remove disruptive siblings out of the studio immediately as it is distracting to both the dancers and the teachers. In Natick, we have a viewing window for you watch from the lobby.
Kindly turn off cell phones. If you are waiting for an emergency call, please keep your phone on vibrate and with you.
Please enter the studio quietly if there is a session or class in progress & please remove your shoes before entering the studio.
No food or gum are permitted in class. this rule applies to all dancers as well as all parents, siblings and guests.
A level progression for dancers is solely based on the discretion of the danceFIT studio staff and the age your child is.
Sorry – but there are no refunds or make-ups for missed classes. No exceptions.
If you cancel your child's enrollment in our ballet sessions, you will be charged a $50 non-refundable fee for cancelling.
Adult Fitness Policies
Failure to cancel a class or appointment within four hours (a very generous grace period), you will lose the class regardless if someone takes your spot. For those with unlimited packages, a $10 late cancel charge will be charged to your credit card on file regardless if someone takes your spot.
Please book your classes in advance. If you are enrolled in a class and cannot attend, please cancel your reservation 4 hours prior to the start of class to avoid the penalty of a used class.
DanceFIT Studio reserves the right to cancel classes with less than 3 participants. Every effort is made to notify those registered of cancellations. if you are enrolled in an evening class you will be emailed by 3pm the day of, if you are enrolled in a morning class you will be emailed by 9pm the day before if we have to issue a cancellation due to low enrollment.
If a class is full you will be placed on a wait list and notified by e-mail when a space opens up. You will be notified up to 4 hours prior to the start of class.
For clients who are expecting, please provide a note from your doctor permitting you to exercise.
Adult packages are valid for two months at the time of purchase. The unlimited month is valid for 31 days.
If you make a purchase in order to make your reservation and subsequently cancel, your drop-in/class card will remain on your account for future use. Our system will not process credit card refunds in this instance and ALL PURCHASES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
