![]() Gina here, updating you on baby Fay's progress! I told you in my 13 week post I would blog regularly about my pregnancy, and I can hardly believe I am at the 20 week mark....and didn't blog once. Well, I can believe it, with teaching classes, running danceFIT and somehow feeding, clothing and playing with my boys, by the end of the night, I literally collapse on the couch and zone out with the tv muffled in the distance. My bedtime continues to get earlier and earlier since I am so tired! How do you feel? Other than collapsing at the end of the night, I feel great during the day! This pregnancy continues to be a million times easier that my first two. I love teaching....the movement feels great and I think this baby really enjoys the music...she is going to grow up with such an eclectic ear...ranging from fantasy garden ballet class, baby mozart, classical piano for ballet class, sam hunt, classical pop and some crazy loud fast beats for balletFIT cardio! What are you craving? Haha, FOOD! In general I am very hungry, and pregnancy is never a time to deprive myself of additional calories. I have been trying hard to fuel myself with foods that actually benefit me & the baby, but still indulge in yummy treats too...I love strawberry mochi ice cream from Trader Joes ;) I'm not going to tell you that mochi is necessarily healthy, but since I love it so much, I did look up to see if there are ANY health benefits, and look what I found, "According to research, this dessert gives strength to the expectant mother and her baby, especially when combined with an herb called mugwort. It is also known to promote lactation, increase calcium and iron content and prepare the mother for her upcoming labor." I was happy to read that, but I would still eat it if there wasn't much nutritional value....so good! Lately, and on a more nutritious note, eggs, beans, avocados & arugula have been a huge staple in my meals, AND a lot of pickles....those really big ones from the deli! I like arugula with my eggs, pasta, sandwiches and it tastes great with avocados! How many tutus have I bought?! I am "trying" to be good, but my head is filled with so many fun ideas. As you can see from my pinterest board, I am kind of obsessed with huge bows and baby legwarmers....I know....shocking ;) I come from a family of three girls, so my dad is excited to hand off some of our special baby & childhood treasures. He recently sent out my American Girl doll, Samantha, which I treasured and a few other things that made me cry....nothing like getting a box full of childhood puzzles, books, dolls and precious memories! I have an ultrasound on Wednesday so I am excited to see baby girl's progress! I bet you want to see bump pictures.....check out DanceFIT's instagram account for real time progress. Thanks for reading!
xo, Gina
