About the challenge
1) Plan your week on on a beautifully designed template by our Adult Fitness Manager, Sandra. Plan on pen & paper and hang on the fridge!
2) Eat fruits, veggies, and whole grains: Aim for 6 servings of fruits and veggies and 1 of whole grains (check them off as you eat them)
3) Plan workouts: Aim for 3 DanceFIT classes and 3 extra movement workouts (walking, stretching, dancing in your kitchen, extra DanceFIT classes, etc.)
4) Plan meals: Plan out your meals & snacks for the week to encourage mindful eating. We will be using this cookbook for inspiration: "Skinny Taste Meal Prep" by Gina Homolka (I have many library copies already available if you are local!)
5) Daily self care: Take a long bath, meditate, get extra sleep, do a face mask, take Deep Stretch, journal... connect to whatever makes you happy.
6) Chat & share: We will communicate, meet new FIT friends and build community & support by using WhatsApp, and hosting special stretch & chat sessions once a week, exclusively for challenge participants (available in person or via zoom).
