We are committed to the well-being of the community and also to keeping our dance classes fun, productive and safe.
Please Note: The below policies and procedures will remain in place for the entirety of our Summer 2021 session. As we move forward and guidelines are updated by the CDC and the state we will reevaluate our studio procedures for upcoming sessions & workshops. As always, we will consult and follow guidelines for our industry and the demographic we serve.
Health & Safety Policies: Class sizes are small and below full capacity for the studio space. Sanitation: Force of Nature -- a non-toxic hospital grade, EPA- registered cleaner and disinfectant. Force of Nature is on the EPA’s list of disinfectants for use against covid-19 Biogs 2.0 Air Purifier will be running in the studio at all times. HEPA is the most trusted filtration technology in the world, used by hospitals and scientific laboratories; it traps common allergens and bacteria that can carry viruses. Floors steam cleaned. Touchless hand sanitizer dispensers & soap dispensers Cleaning & disinfecting before, during and after each class
Face Coverings: All dancers & teachers are required to wear masks for Ballet & Pre-Ballet level classes. Dancers in Tippy Toes classes are not required to wear masks as of Summer 2021. In accordance with current CDC & state guidelines, parents & caregivers participating in Tippy Toes class are not required to wear a mask if fully vaccinated.
Entering & Exiting the studio: Drop off 5 minutes before class begins outside at the door. A staff member will greet dancers at the door. No parents/caregivers allowed inside the building (with the exception of Tippy Toes classes).
Please acknowledge screening questions posted at the door and/or answer screening questions posed by staff.
Staff with symptoms of illness will not report to work and we ask the same of anyone scheduled to be at the studio.
General Children's Dance Policies:
Class schedules are subject to change. We reserve the right to combine or adjust class times to reach needed enrollment numbers.
If it becomes necessary to close the studio for health and safety reasons, classes will move to the virtual platform. No refunds will be issued in the event of a health safety related closure.
Weather Policy: In the event of inclement weather, we will make a decision at least 4 hours prior to the the start of class time and notify you of closures via email and on our social media channels. If your class is cancelled, you receive a voucher code for credit off your next registration or purchase. A max. of one voucher code per class, per session.
Refund Policy: The tuition for remaining classes can be credited in full to your DanceFIT account to use towards a future enrollment/purchase or can be refunded to your payment method minus a $30 refund fee.
Make-up Policy: Make-up classes may be allowed for students enrolled in virtual classes, but due to fully enrolled studio classes we are not able to offer make-ups for students enrolled in studio classes at this time. Those students are invited to take a virtual class as a makeup.
Trial Class: Due to fully-enrolled classes we are not able to offer trial classes for prospective students although observation opportunities may be available. We encourage interested families to register for the class they are most interested in and to participate in the class for a minimum of three weeks before making a decision about fit. We find that it can take time for the young dancers to get accustomed to and comfortable with dance class. Please reach out our manager Amanda with any concerns (email@example.com).
Waivers: All students must have an online waiver on file before coming to the studio. Thank you for also filling out the photo consent form. If you prefer images of your child are not shared, please let us know in writing by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
