We are committed to the well-being of the community and also to keeping our dance classes fun, productive and safe.
Please Note: Our studio policies and procedures are subject to change. As always, we will consult and follow guidelines for our industry and the demographic we serve.
Health & Safety Policies: Sanitation: Force of Nature -- a non-toxic hospital grade, EPA- registered cleaner and disinfectant. Force of Nature is on the EPA’s list of disinfectants for use against covid-19 Biogs 2.0 Air Purifier will be running in the studio at all times. HEPA is the most trusted filtration technology in the world, used by hospitals and scientific laboratories; it traps common allergens and bacteria that can carry viruses. Use of hand sanitizer Cleaning & disinfecting before, during and after each class
Face Coverings: As of March 28, 2022 our dance classes are mask optional. If your dancer arrives to class in a mask, we will make sure your dancer wears the mask throughout class.
Lobby: Our lobby is open as a quiet space. Please be sensitive to the small size of the space, the limited seating, and the fact that noise in the lobby can be very distracting to class going on in the studio. This policy is subject to change. Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes before your class start time, to allow for the class before to clear out. It is not required that you stay while your dancer is in class (with the exception of Tippy Toes classes), please feel free to drop-off and return for pickup. Drop-off may be the best choice if your dancer could be distracted by your presence in the next room. The view of class is best from outside in the parking lot through the large windows. If you would prefer not to enter the building, teachers can check-in and dismiss your dancer at the door.
Sick Policy: If a dancer is feeling sick they should not come to class. Likewise for any family members who may come into the lobby. We thank you for helping to keep the community healthy. Regarding Covid, please follow current guidance regarding masking and exposure. CDC guidelines regarding quarantine and isolation can be found here. If your dancer has been exposed or tests positive, reference Massachusetts guidance for isolation and quarantine.
General Children's Dance Policies:
Class schedules are subject to change. We reserve the right to combine or adjust class times to reach needed enrollment numbers.
If it becomes necessary to close the studio for health and safety reasons, classes will move to the virtual platform. No refunds will be issued in the event of a health safety related closure.
Weather Policy: In the event of inclement weather, we will make a decision at least 2 hours prior to the start of class time and notify you of closures via email and on our social media channels. If your class is cancelled, you receive a voucher code for credit off your next registration or purchase. A max. of one voucher code per class, per session.
Refund Policy: The tuition for remaining classes can be credited in full to your DanceFIT account to use towards a future enrollment/purchase or can be refunded to your payment method minus a $30 refund fee.
Summer Workshop Refund Policy: Refunds are available for summer workshops up to 7 days before your workshop begins. You may choose full credit to your DanceFIT account to be used in the future or refund to your payment method minus $30 fee per workshop week. Cancelling within the 7 days results in a 50% credit or refund.
Single Date Workshop/Event Refund Policy: Refunds are available for workshops up to 5 days before your workshop. You may choose full credit to your DanceFIT account to be used in the future or refund to your payment method minus the $30 processing fee. Cancelling within 5 days before your workshop (for any reason other than illness) results in a 50% credit or refund. In the event that you must cancel due to illness within 5 days of the event, a credit will be issued.
Make-up Policy: To maintain the integrity of our classes, we do not allow for make-up classes during regular class times. If the schedule permits and there is enough interest or reason to offer a scheduled make-up class opportunity we will do so.
Trial Class Policy: Due to fully-enrolled classes we are not able to offer trial classes for prospective students although observation opportunities may be available. We encourage interested families to register for the class they are most interested in and to participate in the class for a minimum of three weeks before making a decision about fit. We find that it can take time for the young dancers to get accustomed to and comfortable with dance class. Please reach out to Ms. Amanda with any questions or concerns (email@example.com).
Placement: *Tippy Toes dancers must be at least 2 years old at the start of the session*. For all other levels (Pre-Ballet I, ages 3 and up) dancers may enter the next level if they will age into it within the session. For example, if your dancer will turn 5 in October, they are eligible to take Pre-Ballet II in the Fall session.
Waivers: All students must have an online waiver on file before coming to the studio. Thank you for also filling out the photo consent form. If you prefer images of your child are not shared, please let us know in writing by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
