In the fitness world, January is boss. We get full classes, more clients, and we love everyone's energy and excitement about movement this time of year. But with that sometimes comes goals that don't quite get met - which leads to negative feelings overall.
We'd like to change that. January is an important time for goal setting and focusing on health, and we love that, but we've always said fitness is all about having fun and staying consistent. So instead, we are focusing on how to inspire YOU, our community. How to encourage consistency, body positivity and acceptance, moving your body regularly, and eating a rainbow of beautiful whole foods that make you feel amazing.
Introducing, DanceFIT Inspire. This is a year long consistency program that incorporates with our regular classes, just adds on different elements of inspiration to keep you focused, having fun, and to keep going.
1. Plan!
The first part of DanceFIT Inspired is to start off planning workouts and meals. You can purchase our PlanFIT Planner to set yourself up, not just for January but for the entire year. And the great thing is, it's not dated, so you can start it NOW, in December, so you're all set and ready to go in 2023.
2. Recorded Classes!
The second part of DanceFIT Inspire is... RECORDED CLASSES. Right, we love live classes, they offer the accountability and connection we all need. But what happens when plans go off the rails? What if you have a kid home sick unexpectedly, or family drops by out of the blue during your schedule Zumba® class (ugh! haha just kidding we love family)? Enter - recorded workouts. It's your way to stay accountable to your part one, your plan that you created for yourself. Sure, you planned to go to Zumba®, but your in-laws are heading over in an hour, so instead, pop on one of our recorded classes (20 mins or less each!) and get that good fun sweat in before they come. This brings accountability and flexibility into your workout plans easily! They're great on their own, or stack them for a longer workout. Check out our Recorded Class Library here.
3. Nutrition!
A very important part of DanceFIT Inspire is learning about Nutrition. We are so lucky to have Janel Funk, a registered Dietitian, to help us learn about the principles of Intuitive Eating as well as guide us through how to build an easier, freer relationship with food.
